《激流——刘邓大军挺进大别山》
Torrent—Liu and Deng Marching toward Dabie Mountain
1947年8月7日，刘邓大军12万人马从西鲁南向大别山挺进，揭开了人民解放军全国性战略进攻的序幕。这是彪炳史册的重大事件。1981年，著名油画家鲍加满怀激情，历时半年创作了《激流——刘邓大军挺进大别山》。作品收藏于金寨县革命博物馆，引人瞩目。
过陇海路、黄泛区、沙河、涡河、汝河、淮河等一道又一道障碍 , 经20多天的艰苦跋涉和激烈战斗，刘邓大军突破数十万敌人的围追堵截。《激流》选取一个瞬间，表现了大历史大时空。无论是构图，还是主色调，把握得令人叹服。激流行进中的战士、征程的风尘都准确描绘，尤其是刘伯承、邓小平神态处理惟妙惟肖，表现出了对战局信心满满。他们身体前倾，挺进的气势被画家抓了出来。早晨朦胧的青灰色调画得很透明，激越河水极富动势，仿佛能听到哗哗流淌的声音。

鲍加是一位富有才情而勤奋的画家。1961年，他与著名油画家董希文、艾中信、罗工柳等一起，参加了中国革命博物馆历史题材油画创作。此后，他创作了《毛主席在共青团九大》《极目楚天》《淮海大捷》《大漠千里》 等表现重大题材和重大场面的作品， 影响深远。
20世纪90年代开始，鲍加的绘画从宏大场面转向表现自然瞬间之美。博览群书的他，追求意境，把东方艺术语言和西方油画技法和谐结合，展示出抒情而明快的风景画创作风格，表现出令人愉悦、酣畅的审美情趣，也显示了他热爱祖国、热爱家乡的赤子之情。

To commemorate this historic events, the well-known oil painter Bao Jia, with all his passion, spent half a year in 1982 on Torrent: Main Forces Led by Liu Bocheng and Deng Xiaoping Marching Toward the Dabie Mountains. This impressive work is collected in the Revolutionary Museum of Jinzhai County.
The painting vividly depicts a moment against the historical backdrop of the War of Liberation. Though the soldiers wading across a raging torrent have endured extreme hardships of a long journey, their faces are beaming with confidence about victory. The setting is also consummately portrayed: the hazy morning is reflected by a livid hue, and the turbulent water looks so energetic that you feel as if could hear its brawl.

As a talented and diligent painter, Bao Jia also has many other representative works such as Mao Zedong at the Ninth National Congress of the Communist Youth League, Looking Far into the Distance, Great Victory in the Huaihai Campaign, and Boundless Desert. Focusing on significant topics and scenes, they have a far-reaching influence in the art circle. Since the 1990s, however, Bao Jia has produced more landscape paintings than epic tableaux, presenting his affection for the nature and his positive attitude towards life.
鲍加，1933年生，祖籍歙县。1963年入中央美术学院油画系进修。历任中国美术家协会常务理事、理事；安徽省美术家协会主席。现任中国油画学会理事；安徽省美术家协会名誉主席；国家一级美术师；享受国务院颁发的中华人民共和国特殊人才政府津贴。出版有《鲍加油画集》、《自然流韵》 《山川情怀》、《鲍加油画作品选》等个人画册。
